Baruch 2:6

Justice is on the side of the Lord our God, but public shame is upon us and upon our ancestors to this very day.
To the Lord our God belongeth justice: but to us, and to our fathers confusion of face, as at this day.
The Lord our God is always righteous, but we and our ancestors are still burdened with our guilt.
“To the Lord, our God, belongs justice; to us and to our ancestors, to be shamefaced, as on this day.
“Justice is the hallmark of the Lord, our God, but we, like our fathers, are the object of shame even today.
The Lord our God is in the right, but there is open shame on us and our ancestors this very day.
The Lord our God is in the right, but there is open shame on us and our ancestors this very day.
The Lord our God is in the right, but there is open shame on us and our ancestors this very day.
“To the Lord our God belongs righteousness, but to us, this day, open shame.
“‘Righteousness belongs to the Lord our God, but confusion of face to us and our fathers, as at this day.
“‘Righteousness belongs to the Lord our God, but confusion of face to us and our fathers, as at this day.
Rightfulness is to our Lord God, but shame of face is to us and to our fathers, as this day (it) is. [To the Lord our God rightwiseness, to us forsooth and to our fathers shame of the face, as (it) is this day.]
